Our History: The Story of Miller Motor Sales CDJR
The story of Miller Motor Sales begins in 1939, when Melvin Miller established Miller Motor Sales, Inc. as a Dodge-Chrysler dealership. The original location sat on Mill Street in Burlington, WI, marking the humble beginnings of what would become a four-generation family legacy.
In 1945, Mel moved the business to 533 Bridge Street in Burlington, where operations continued until 1959. That year, the dealership relocated again to accommodate its growth, this time to a larger location at 688 Milwaukee Avenue, across from Echo Lake and next to Beaumont Field. Shortly after this move, Mel's son Neal joined the family business, and the two Millers operated together from this location until 1981.
By 1981, Neal had purchased the business from his father Mel. That same year, Neal also acquired the Ford-Mercury dealership in Burlington from Bill Shallock. The entire operation was then consolidated at our current location, 1196 Milwaukee Avenue in Burlington, WI -- where we continue to proudly serve the community today.
